Brian D. Spira

Mr. Spira is a pioneer of and accomplished leader in litigation finance. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Spira was Vice President and Director of Oxbridge Incorporated, the predecessor of Oxbridge Financial Group LLC. Concurrently, he was a senior advisor to Oxbridge LLC, a NASD broker-dealer, investment banking boutique specializing in financial advisory, strategic planning and private placement for mid-market American companies in the industrial, consumer, technology and alternative finance services industries. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Spira served as chief of marketing, sales and product development for a small regional specialty lender. Under his direction, this lender was transformed into one of the largest non-recourse, plaintiff financing companies in the United States, increasing its advance portfolio by 800% from $3 million to $24 million in 30 months.
In 2004, Mr. Spira co-founded Oxbridge Financial LLC, a predecessor of Oxbridge Financial Group LLC, to extend loans, on behalf of a New York based hedge fund, to CFB law firms. In addition to his corporate managerial duties, he was primarily responsible for marketing and loan origination of a portfolio of over 50 lines of credit to plaintiff law firms. Mr. Spira received a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Zicklin School of Business. He graduated from McGill University with a Bachelors of Science degree.
Mr. Spira currently resides in Riverdale, New York with his wife and four children.
