Mr. Raskas has been involved in manufacturing, packaging, marketing and sales for over 25 years. Mr. Raskas was an owner and vice chairman of Raskas Foods Inc., a cultured dairy products company headquartered in St. Louis. He fostered the transition of the business from a small family-run organization into a professionally managed entity with both nationwide and international sales, three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and $200 million of annual sales. Mr. Raskas was responsible for manufacturing, distributing, purchasing, maintenance and quality control. His purchasing responsibilities included negotiating and structuring all major contracts for raw materials, packaging and plan equipment. Mr. Raskas also participated in the company’s human resources, information technology, strategic planning, banking and finance decisions. In November 2002, after opening new markets for the company in Japan, Mexico, Peru, South Africa and select Central American companies, Mr. Raskas and his partners sold Raskas Foods to a multi-billion dollar, multi-national food company.
Mr. Raskas earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a Masters of Hebrew Literature Degree from Yeshiva University. Until August 2002, he was an executive board member of the U.S. Dairy Export Council and a member of the International Dairy Foods Association. He is currently a member of the board of Yeshiva College. He is senior office of several philanthropic and educational institutions in St. Louis. Mr. Raskas and his wife reside in New Rochelle, NY
